If you want to live with the peace of mind that your mail will be delivered safely, then find another complex and don’t bother with Gables. If you're a college student, this place might be somewhat manageable. However, for anyone beyond that stage, living here can be quite frustrating. Expect numerous fees, including charges for changing locks and newly introduced monthly fees. Moving out is also a challenge—unless your timing is perfect, you may incur additional costs. Even after vacating the unit, you could be hit with cleaning fees despite having paid pet deposits and already spending more than reasonable each month. Here’s an honest review: The location of this property and the surrounding conveniences are truly unmatched. The maintenance staff is reliable, and the new administrative team has been incredible, pleasant, responsive, and always ready to assist, which makes resolving any issues much easier. The property itself is quiet, the neighbors are friendly, and it’s easy to get comfortable here. Gables Brookhaven has been disappointing. There was an issue with my heater that caused my GA power bill to be $300 for two months and the minute they fixed the issue my bill went down to $100. Clearly it was their fault so ofcourse I would be compensated? Wrong. My proof wasn’t in pdf format so my request for a credit on my rent was ignored.
