Gabe is an honest and the best VW technician. Helped with a disc brake conversion on my bug and repairs to make a daily driver.
I've been patient with him and gave him chances after chances. Every motor he build me has to be torn apart again. Leaks every where and takes forever to do. Keeps prioritizing other cars.
Horrible mechanic..... Misquoted me for a motor, promised me a week for a new motor and ended up being 3 months and constantly giving me excuses and lies. Ended up rushing a motor that leaks non stop. His motors leak from everywhere, the crank pulley, fuel pump, between the case halves.
Gabe is a good guy. brutally honest as well. Just be patient with him, he's the only guy working there so bigger jobs might take a little longer. Gabe is a human, just like us and sometimes he'd make mistakes but he has never failed to own up to his mistakes and always willing to fix the problem. Gabe gets the job done and he doesn't deal with anybody's BS. He may seem blunt sometimes but just remember that he gets things done..
