Dr. B is awesome. I've been suffering from terrible complications from spinal fusion surgery for a year now, and this office has given me the best, most compassionate treatment throughout this whole ordeal, bar none. Highly recommend.
Georgia Pain and Wellness Center (aka Summit Spine & Joint Center) is a revolving circus. I have gone to the Braselton office for over 2 years and, except for 2 occasions, I probably never saw the same doctor twice. Doctors arrive continually late as well. It seems they are scheduled for their office location that very morning, and then have yet to drive the distance to the location. I can only imagine this is what happens at all their offices. When the pain medicine wasn't working, instead of taking, i waited to adjust the next visit...I didn't know during urine tests you were supposed to be positive and instead of saying anything they let me go...no warning or anything except the visit before...when you aren't told, you don't know! Terrible way to practice...the exploratory injection made my back 100x worse and it's been awful since then...worst experience ever
Dr B is a very caring and intelligent doctor. He actually listens, pays attention, does some critical thinking and tries to get to the true root cause of your pain. I can’t say enough how highly I think of him and his professionalism. He’s a rare find! I’ve dealt with back pain for 20 years and he’s the first doctor that actually took the time to listen to me, examine me and actually try to help me. I used to live daily with a 4-5 pain level and now I’m 0-1. Thank you, Dr B!!!!!
The Dr.’s here are wonderful however the front office staff and the department that deals with insurance is all but useless. Be prepared to do everything for them and have frustration like never before at any medical office. They refuse to be proactive on the patients behalf and refuse to help even if you do all the leg work. I have been going here now for back injections and I was supposed to have back surgery there. However, when I got there they said oh by the way your VA authorization has ended. They asked me to go back ... read more
