The unsweetened tea was good. The meal was, sadly, pretty awful. I ordered the ribeye with potato wedges and a house salad with blue cheese dressing. The salad was mostly wilted mixed greens-some were dark and weren’t good. The ribeye was NOT a ribeye—it was a New York strip at best. This place was delicious! The service was fast, the food was hot and good, and the server was really nice! Shoutout to April! She was so nice and sweet!
Brisket was fried and dry. Nachos had stale chips and a hamburger was chopped up for the beef and still raw in areas of the platter. Distinguishing food.
Their menu was not updated so when we asked for an item, of course they no longer had it (that includes food and beer). The waitress seemed clueless when we asked about specific things on the menu. When the food finally arrived we were underwhelmed with the tenderloin because it was too think and not tender. Finally, they were blaring Fox News the entire time. We will not be returning.
Didn't see many options near the hotel, so we opted for this restaurant. Glad we did. The burger was very good, though I would have liked a single patty rather than a double. Having thought it was more of a smash burger, I went with the standard two patties, but these seem more like quarter pound patties. That being said, they taste hand made and fresh. Ordered a Moscow Mule to drink, and though it was good, it wasn't in a copper mug. Overall, solid choice.
