Brisket was fried and dry. Nachos had stale chips and a hamburger was chopped up for the beef and still raw in areas of the platter. Distinguishing food.
Their menu was not updated so when we asked for an item, of course they no longer had it (that includes food and beer). The waitress seemed clueless when we asked about specific things on the menu. When the food finally arrived we were underwhelmed with the tenderloin because it was too think and not tender. Finally, they were blaring Fox News the entire time. We will not be returning.
Didn't see many options near the hotel, so we opted for this restaurant. Glad we did. The burger was very good, though I would have liked a single patty rather than a double. Having thought it was more of a smash burger, I went with the standard two patties, but these seem more like quarter pound patties. That being said, they taste hand made and fresh. Ordered a Moscow Mule to drink, and though it was good, it wasn't in a copper mug. Overall, solid choice.
No part of the dining experience went well. First the door was locked so we had to walk around to hotel entrance. That might have been a security measure since there were only 2 ladies working front of house but I ended up opening the door for 2 other parties of people and was mistaken for a hostess. Second management is not doing well on keeping stock of liquor or food. Several drinks and food items were unavailable. Wow, it was pretty bad service! I was traveling for a business trip, so I ate by myself and it took over minutes for me to even get my side salad! The food was decent, but I also got a side of "potato wedges", and when I came, it was crinkle cut fries that you buy from Kroger!! Please update the menu to say "crinkle cut fries". Needless to say, I will definitely not be going back!
