I am from NY and I only go to Aveda and I love the fact that everything is all natural. I had a good experience. I went in for a pedicure and she did a good job with my toes. I felt she could of put a little more effort into the massage.
I work at an Aveda salon in upstate NY and I must say I have very mixed reviews. My facial was outstanding! She had very good hands and was very knowledgable. The salon was beautiful. On the flip side... Due to the oil in my hair from the facial I asked if I could have a shampoo to cleanse it out. They put me with an assistant...she used her nails to shampoo, got water and soap in my ears, never conditioned and rinsed me with freezing cold water...
