We would NEVER expect a customer to accept furniture in the condition Oregonduck describes. All delivered merchandise goes through multiple inspections before ever leaving our warehouse. After reviewing Oregonduck's delivery paperwork there were no notes made in regards to the product being dirty or the floor being damaged. gave it a miss – Based on the results of searches my husband and i did online, as well as a trip to the store, we decided to give this store a miss when buying our new couch and chair this week. We read your review, and feel you haven't given us a fair chance. We DO offer a Lifetime Warranty on our furniture. Warranty varies by manufacturer and some brands offer longer warrantees than others. We also hope you read our detailed responses to the issues you mentioned. We're locally owned, support our local community and take pride in our quality, styles, pricing and customer service. We feel our store is better than the competition and after doing more research we hope you will give us another chance.
Porter brand is terrible – Last spring my wife and I decided to upgrade to a sectional sofa since we had our second child in addition to a cat and dog. We visited Furniture Connexion and were not terribly impressed with the warehouse, but knew low overhead would save us some money. We are sorry to hear Fv9 is unhappy with our warranty policy. When we were notified Fv9 had a stain, we immediately coordinated an exchange (giving Fv9 the benefit of the doubt that he didn't create the stain) even though we have sold 100s of this item with no stains. We did not pick up the sofa, because Fv9 didn't originally have the furniture delivered. We just bought a sofa from Furniture Connexion. Its beautiful and so comfortable we want to sleep on it! Service was great, wish I remember our salesmans name but he was on top of everything! We needed to measure, he came right out with a measuring tape, we wanted to buy a table and chairs, he advised AGAINST what we were looking at telling us it wasnt good, cheap and was known to break all the time. Furniture people are looking for – I'd done my research before shopping for my new living room furniture. My budget is tight, like most peoples, and I wanted the best value I could find. I found exactly what I was looking for at Furniture Connexion. Their Gresham showroom is huge. Not only was the sofa and loveseat I liked in stock, but I was also able to pick it up the same day. This was my first new furniture purchase and I couldn't be more please with the experience.
Great locally owned furniture store. – I found this store on the shoplocal website. I'm really making an effort to spend my money on local companies rather than big chain stores. I was really impressed with the selection of furniture. They're a ways out (Gresham-ish) but it was worth it. I think they have another location too. Watch Out Warning!!! – We purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman for around $ 1200. Within about 6 months the fabric started to significantly fade-- only in spots. On all of the pieces!!! The furniture was in our living room on the north side of the house, so NO direct sunlight ever.. Furniture was used very little as we mostly are in our family room for casual use. We are unhappy to hear Avis 1234 had a bad experience at the Furniture Connexion. Upon hearing of this issue, our customer service manager sent a company representative out to her house (not the owner) to see what the problem was with the sofa fabric. He did not determine the fabric was defective (as Avis stated), but determined it was stained as a result of customer use.
