In 1987, soon after I turned 36, I had a panic attack and was hospitalized over night. The ER doctor, David Price, referred me to Dr. Furlow. He was at the hospital the next morning, early. He examined me and put me through a stress test, then made an appointment for me to see him at his office on Nicholasville Rd a few days later. After a very thorough physical and lab work, he addressed my problem of heavy smoking.
