Dogs have always been in the lives of owners Carla Cooper and Kelly Popelka, so they couldn't pass up the opportunity to work together to create a stress-free facility for dog care. Both Carla and Kelly created FTLOD in 2008 and in 2014 Carla continues operations with her husband Brad Cooper. I can not recommend this place enough. I have one dog who is perfect and one is is very difficult. First, I took my perfect dog to try them out. He came back looking amazing from grooming. Ok, let’s give it a shot. My difficult dog had a traumatic grooming experience somewhere. He has since become aggressive when he sees a brush. Therefore most people won’t groom him. He was a MESS. I brought my puppies in for grooming and I was really nervous since I’ve never had a stranger groom them. When I called to ask some questions I was given lots of information and assured that my babies could stay together and not be there for an unreasonable amount of time, which is something I was worried about. When we got there we met with their groomer Katie and she made us feel very comfortable leaving our precious pups in her care. The staff here is always so helpful. I have 2 dramatic German Shepherds (73lbs and 110lbs). I usually use the self bath area but just got my girl’s nails clipped. She is the epitome of a scaredy-cat and doesn’t let anyone touch her paws. They were able to clip and grind her nails without hurting her. Not to mention, they were very understanding of her tantrums. I would 110% recommend this place to others.
I am so pleased that I found Fur the Love of Dogs. Not only do my dogs love this place, but so do I! The staff is wonderful; they’re welcoming/friendly & great with my dogs. I get pulled in the door they’re so excited to go to daycare! They also do a great job keeping the place clean, which is a huge plus for me!
Last weekend we left our Shiba boys for an overnight. It was a wonderful experience! I have never left the boys before for any extended period of time. My boyfriend message FTLOD through Facebook and they happily sent us pictures and updates. I loved how it was a quick response and they were honest and open with their communication. My baby loves playing with all her buddies at daycare!!!! She starts barking and going crazy the second we turn on the street
If it wasnt for this place my puppy would go crazy. he loves it. lots of exercise that our schedule does not allow for. seems the staff really enjoys working with animals
This is the Best Home Away from Home for our dog, Lambeau! He is so excited when we pull up and greets all of the wonderful Staff! Every employee treats him like family! Love this place!
