The camaraderie is fantastic - it must be what Woodstock felt like! Jorma is a great, patient instructor, really concerned with helping you to learn, and there are always private sessions with each student to go over the last section of a song learned. To top it all off, gourmet meals each day... the love this place was built on is evident at all times
Jack Cassidy told me Fpr is a place to get away from life for a few days. I've been going there for 10 years now and it has completely changed my life. The music I play and listen to has changed and most importantly my outlook on life has changed. The people at the ranch and the students I'm friends with are a big part of who I am now. Life is good.
The 'Ranch is a little piece of heaven on Earth. Music,art,food,education all in one place. Staffed by some of the nicest folks around. John,Brett,& the rest of the crew are phenomenal.On my first visit Vanessa took time from a hectic day of moving to welcome me personally! Jorma may be the most unassuming celebrity/rock star ever. He talks everything from music to motorcycles like you're an old friend. And the concerts? Some of the best music anywhere in a cozy,intimate, homelike setting- I can't wait to go back!
I love this place. It is a little "peace" of heaven on earth. Fur Peace Ranch is a very special place. I feel so happy when my husband and I go there. The teaching Musicians are always so talented and inspiring. Jorma is a fine man with so much talent. He shares that talent freely and beautifully as he teaches and entertains. Vanessa and Hurl do a bang up job keeping things running smoothly and making you feel special when you are there. It feels like family ... caring and kind!
I have never been disappointed! The acts are invariably musicians I don't know, and they're great!!!! I LOVED the Empire Roots band!!!! My best friend's husband gets season tix and they make it possible for me to go with them when I visit them for the Pumpkin Show--- love, love Fur Peace!

Everything about this place is incredible, especially the people! Every trip there is anticipated all year and over far too soon! Made so many friends there!
