Extremely disappointed with my experience with Big Apple Plumbing, in terms of cost. The Tech was fine, but the price for our fix was outrageous. We needed a plumber right a few days after Christmas due to our gas pipe leaking. The Tech evaluated and gave us options on all the things they claimed needed to be fixed, this was after a $125 show up fee that was to be paid regardless. We ended up just asking for the gas pipe to be re-hooked to our dryer and add a shut off valve, the work took 30 min and they charged $660. We wer... read more
I reached out to Big Apple Plumbing Company because my thermostat seemed not to be connecting with the boiler. The thermostat would turn the heat on for a little while and then would not go back on once it was turned off. When they couldn't figure out what the issue was they told me to contact them when the issue happens again since at that moment it was working. I have been using them for years and they make you feel like family :) My hot water heater was leaking and they found out it was under warranty and I was able to get a new one .
