My husband and I decided to stay overnight instead of driving home. Stumbled on the Funny Farm and glad we did. It was clean and comfortable. The owner made our transaction easy over the phone. The pond and wildlife were a real bonus.
Truly a special place . better than the rest.
I’ve stayed twice since April and plan to go back. The owners are really nice and instantly felt like family. The animals were fun, including the American bulldog, who is a big sweetie.
We stumbled across the Funny Farm looking for somewhere to spend a long weekend. I was super intrigued and we were not disappointed! The three hour drive from Metairie was just far enough to feel like we were away, but close enough to make the weekend trip. The cabin is very clean and nicely decorated. The pond and outdoor area is wonderful, and we loved that the chickens come and hang out with you.
