I’ve been working with Alyson for about eight or nine months now. She was helping me grow out my hair but most recently I decided to cut it all off! I sent her a whole board of my vision and a thorough explanation of what I didn’t want. With curly hair, it can be risky to get a short cut and I’ve had some in the past that I didn’t love. She took my notes and ran with it! This might be my favorite hair cut ever. Highly recommend!

TL;DR: Poor communication, expectation setting, and color. I went to this salon for the first time to get a balayage done. I emailed first with photos of my hair, explanation of color history, and inspo images. I specifically wanted a balayage so that I could grow out my natural color without having awkward looking roots. I also asked to confirm that I should book a "balayage" on their booking site. Above & Beyond. Alyson is amazing. I came to her for a blonde color correction and she absolutely went above and beyond. She was very honest with me about what it would take to fix the color and what she would and would not be able to do. She literally spent her entire Saturday on my hair. Alyson is a true master of their craft. I can always count on them with knowing how to cut my thin/curly hair to achieve the look or inspo I have in mind. They are also very easy and flexible to schedule with. Can't recommend Alyson enough!
