I have sensory issues that make it unpleasant to have a TV playing ads loudly in the waiting room. When I politely asked the front desk staff if it could be muted, they said they would have to speak to a manager and then did nothing. There was no one else in the waiting room who was watching, and the TV is covered in signs asking people not to touch it, which suggests this is a common issue. I have been a patient with this practice for than 25 years. I had an appointment a week ago. I was 10 minutes late for the appointment and was made to reschedule. I explained it was because of the work being done on the squirrel hill tunnel being forced into a single lane plus the line at the meter parking and people not knowing how to use it with their credit card. I calm to make appointment with doctor and the guy who said and make appointment. Ask me 1000 questions why I come what is my disease why I wanna see this doctor and then I ask him just make a appointment he said he don’t wanna talk with me and he don’t wanna make appointment for me because i am not enough polite with him .I have come tomorrow and talk with his manager because he don’t wanna make appointment for me. If I could give zero stars I would. Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. It is surprising to me, because so far I had great experience at any UPMC facility, but this one is a disaster and they don’t deserve a dime. If you want to save yourself some time and nerves make sure to never schedule an appointment with them.
