Made a reservation tonight, but was not seated promplty because not everyone from my party was there. So other patrons were seated before. Not sure why it was a big deal, but we ended up waiting another 15 minutes. Once we were seated, we had to wait for our cook to sing happy birthday. No big deal, however it was the second time the cook came to the table after another 10 minute wait, without any drinks, to let us know they were singing happy birthday again that we had had enough. I've never had a bad experience before today but after this, I might not go back with my family again. I understand automatic gratuity for big parties in one ticket, but when we are 3 separate orders, I don't expect a $13 tip to be added to my bill just because we walked in together. Do they do the same thing with any group that takes up more than 5 seats even if they're not a family?? I love the food but having a family night isn't worth the nearly $100 I spent for a meal, drinks and an appetizer for my child and I.
We were super excited to go here as we have never been. I’ve only been to the Japanese Steak House on Martin Way. We had a party of five. Three of us ordered steak. The other two ordered chicken. Within a half hour of eating the steak, the three of us had severe stomach issues. We will NOT be back. $150 for getting the craps. Not cool. Also the “yum yum” sauce is rather bland. Doesn’t live up to the name at all. I’ll be going to the one on Martin Way from here on out. Just gross.
Always a great experience but on Valentine’s Day it went above and beyond excellent service. Dan was our Cook and he was very entertaining. Thank you
Food is pretty good. Service is very good. The Chef was pretty funny. This was my 3rd trip there.
