Right off the bat, the receptionist was so welcoming and helpful. She’s a keeper. Next was an awesome young man who administered some of the tests before I was to see Dr. Makkouk. I am sorry I can’t remember his name! Two thumbs up! Dr. Makkouk was very friendly and easy going and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. My regular eye doctor noticed I had a retina tear. She scheduled an appointment with Dr. Makkouk. He was able to see me 10 minutes later and performed the laser surgery to repair the tear. He explained the procedure and answered all my questions beforehand. All of his staff were just as professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you need laser surgery, I recommend Dr. Makkouk.

He takes the time to thoroughly go over your exam results, explain next steps, and makes sure you feel heard. The support staff at Austin Eye Center is just as wonderful and attentive.
