I went to this store to pick up a TV they said was in stock and they did NOT have it in stock NONE of the TV's that they had on display on the floor were in stock in the store. I originally bought a TV from here and 9 days later it stopped working, they did not want to help me with a trade or even a store credit because i didn't have a box. I had been to several stores and still no help.
One star is being nice. Don't understand how this place is still in business. Feels like I am walking into a mortuary because of the dull atmosphere. The whole environment is sketchy. The customer service is horrible at best and the selection of inventory is outdated. Hard to believe this place gains any profit. I would rather shop at best buy or any other competitor.
Fry`s ripp off – Bought a brand new still in the box LG 42 inch led tv (flat screen} from fry`s, back in 2008, it was priced at $1499.99 on sale for $999.99, next they wanted me to buy 5 year extended warranty, and with a piece of mind I agreed, just in case I had problems they could fix it or replace my set as the sales person explained. Getting ripped off – If you want o get ripped off come to Fry's in Dallas. The salesman lied to me about the type of projector that I was buying. I told him what type I was looking for and what I didn't want and he went in the back and brought out one in a sealed plain box that saying it was just what I was looking for. When I got back to the hotel and opened the box, the projector was what I had told the salesman several times That I didn't want.
