Buyers beware !!!! The Fry's circular that they send out that shows items at prices that seem to be much lower than everybody else's are refurbished. Case in point, I bought a Dyson handheld vacuum and had an issue with it only for Dyson to tell me there's no warranty on this because it was a refurbished item. I went online on frys.com online to open up my first online order for motherboard that is names Rampage V Extreme. one of the top of the line motherboard for the X99 chip set. the payment was banned and my debit card and bank account got banned. frys that was taking the online order filed charges that I stolen a debit card and a bank account. I purchased an Onkyo receiver NR 636 at Fry's Las Vegas Town Square. It was recommended by their "expert" to get this receiver. No sound came out of this receiver. Glitches of sound only. Drive it back up to Vegas which is a 2.5 hour drive for us. Get it swapped with another (1 hour later). Get it home again and another Lemon. Wouldn't even power on. Just hear clicks but nothing else. Both of these people are idiots, how could anyone think they were going to get a case of Fiji Water for 3.99, give me a break, what an idiot. The guy with the computer sounds like another moron, its not hard to mess up and ruin parts when building something like this. I don't they sold him defective parts. I have shopped there dozens of times, no issues that weren't my error or common to the products I was buying, generally no issues. Pretty generic for a Fry's but it's Vegas so it's HUGE. Just HUGE. I mean bigger than I've ever seen outside of Texas as a state. I needed an adapter cord and found it quickly. It took me longer to walk into the place and out than the entire adventure to get the adapter. Thank you Fry's.
No More!!! bought a $1900.00 camara on a 1 year no interest plan and divided the payments up equally paying them via electronic payment scheduled monthly to ensure payment and with one payment left, I chose to check the Frys Credit website instead of my statements. The payment due date was 6-14-11 and I payed the final amount on 6/1/11. I failed to realize that the 1 yr ended on 5/24/11 because they hide this date in plain site on the statement in small print and I recieved another bill for $258.00 in interest I was so dilig... read more
Fry's Electronics is a huge mess of terrible products! – I really hate having to go to Fry's on a regular basis... You might be wondering why I would continue to shop at a place I dislike. It's because I purchased all the parts necessary to build my own personal high-end PC. I can tell you that LITERALLY NOTHING WORKED... My mobo was burnt out. I have called Fry's 4 times to check to see if they have a baby monitor in stock that I saw on there web-site. two out of the 4 times they transferred me to another dept. and when they answered I was put on hold. whatever they did at this point disconnected the call. the last two times when I was transferred nobody would answer and it just stayed ringing. This is unexceptable to me, the economy is bad and with this kind of incopitancy there is no wonder the economy bad. You should be wanting all the bissines... read more
