Dan Fry and Zontae D. Fleming asphalt work together and did not finish the work on the deck and painting they were doing on my building. I have called and emailed for 1 year with excuses and not show. They also ruined the material for the deck and railing. I have to buy new and have someone else installing correctly. I even had an engineer draw up plans which they did not follow. They painted my windows shut and got black tar on my office carpet. I was very disappointed. !!!!
We hired Daniel Fry to install a drainage in our driveway. He came and picked up the deposit, made 2 cuts in our driveway and never returned to finish the job. Over a period of 4 months, many phone calls, texts and emails were sent. Most o f the time he wouldn't respond, but when he did, he would give us many excuses for not showing up. We haven't gotten our deposit back after numerous of attempts of contacting him, just one excuse after another. Fry Asphalt is horrible. We should have read the reviews before we contacted them. He seemed professional and legit when we first contacted him and when he took our deposit... and then he disappeared. Our family has not been able to get our deposit back for months and services have never been rendered. His PA business license is expired and he is not accredited by the BBB. In April 2015, Daniel Fry gave us a great estimate for driveway repair services and asked for a deposit. We were still getting estimates, and Daniel Fry said he would match any other estimate. We reluctantly gave him a deposit check that he said he would not actually deposit until the date of our service. He deposited it the same day. Fry asphalt came to reveiw the work I wanted done. May I say for free also, he beat 3 other written estimatse. He kept me informed on the whole job, his crew arrived 15 mins. Early, were very perfessional, did an expert job and provided oversight the intire job. When they where finished. They cleaned up their mess thoroughly.i would use fry asphalt again. It would be impossible for me to be any more disapointed with my experiance with Fry Asphalt. I hired Dan to pave my drivway in the Fall of 2014. I paid in full for the project and the work was never completed. Dan informed me that if I had any issues with the job to call him back and he would return to correct/fix. A year ago, we hired Fry Asphalt to put the top coat on our driveway. As our warranty period was coming to a close, we had a couple of issues to attend to. Within 15 minutes, I received a response email from Dan Fry, who happened to be out of town for the week. Within a couple of hours, I received a call from someone saying that one of your crews was finishing up a job , and would be able to be at our home by about 4:00PM that same day. Great estimate very clearly detailed and a awesome price! Dan was very thorough and had some great ideas for our new driveway. The crew did fabulous work on time really took pride in their work, and carefully integrated it with the old work. Would highly reccomend Fry Asphalt to anyone else. Very clean cut friendly fellers. DO NOT USE fry asphalt. They are crooks and have poor business practices. Job was not completed properly, Daniel Fry was left multiple messages without a response, finally got ahold of him and he said he would be present at a certain time and never showed, mailbox was "full" when I tried to call back. Job still has not been completed in a month, but he cashed his check immediately. BEWARE. I would give 0 stars as a review but you have to pick one. BBB contacted and now address has changed.
