For the last 20 years Frontier has slowly acquired the better part of the block facing Central Avenue across from the UNM campus. What can I say about the Frontier. If you have been to Albuquerque and not been to the Frontier, you have not been to Albuquerque. Good food, incredibly fast service, and an art collection that rivals the best galleries in Santa Fe.

A must when going through Alb; heck even do it if you have a layover there for some reason. Everything g is amazing authentic and just Delish. Servers, well order takers are always friendly. OK, here it is end of August, 2016. You probably don't care, what with your huge customer base and all, but after more than 20 years, you've lost my wife and me as customers. We bought a 56 oz. GC stew at Frontier last week, after an interim period of several months, and we were more disappointed than ever before. If the stew actually had meat in it we couldn't tell, and the green chile consisted of an abundance of skins an charred skins. It seemed like a bunch of corn starch or some filler was used. We were in Albuquerque for a couple days before driving to Colorado.. We googled, where do the locals eat in Alb. Did not disappoint!!! It's been almost 3 years and we talk about how we wished there was a Frontier closer to us. My first taste of hot chai tea in October, delish.. great food, great community atmosphere. Can definitely recommend!!
The atmosphere is nice and the food is AMAZING!!!!
