RecommendedI was in Chicago on business and my wife is the biggest Rick Bayless fan on the planet. I guess that makes me a Rick Bayless fan by proxy. So I had to try one of his restaurants. First I ordered the corn tamale appetizer. Mildly sweet masa with an earthy, hearty flavor, cilantro giving it a nice finish. Impressed that it was moist but not greasy, flavorful but not salty. Had dinner before seeing Eddie Izzard on May 31. Fantastic food, service.. Between four of us, we shared 8 starters and mains, and 9 cocktails. Great taste, great drinks. Loved everything.

Food was everything I came to expect simply fabulous. Service was beyond great and the coffee was great. Really can’t say anything negative about my visit. I do recommend that if your are down town you should give it a try.
