I love this place, great food and atmosphere. I always get the mussels, can't go wrong.

Staff friendly, location good. Pricey to me. Ordered the scallops, cooked ok, 5 "little" scallops, and a ton of spinach for 19.00? Really? And the scallop flavor was nothing special. Hubby had the tacos which he said were awesome except the tortillas were oily. Shoulda just heated them on the grill and you would have been golden with this one! Except the cheap chips...get good chips (juanitas). Family with us, mussels were good, 2 little crab cakes with a great salad.
The BEST black bean jalapeño burger ever, ever, EVER!!!! Our 5 person party all agreed the fries were the best any of us have had. They even special made a grilled cheese for the non meat-eater at our table. Wish we lived nearby so we could eat here often. Two thumbs enthusiastically up!
We just attended a special beef, brew & wine dinner at FSG...everything was amazingly good!
Came here during my spur of the moment trip to whidbey. Just moved to Washington and I grew up in oak harbor and wanted to go back and visit. Was seated right away with a great view! Ordered the Whidbey Loganberry cocktail which was delicious. The crab cakes were perfect and they even suggested making my side salad into a Caesar salad since I was going to order that anyways. Everything was so fresh and Alora was very friendly and welcoming. Will come back when I'm in the area again!

We enjoyed the food and the view! But, Thursday is "Trivia" night. The Trivia host was loud to the point we asked the server if he could please turn it down. He turned down the music, but not his mic. He kept on this loud chatter and as best we could tell by looking around, nobody was paying any attention to him. We would have stayed a bit later and had a drink or dessert, but it was just too loud.
Food was great (as it usually is). But the last few times the service wasn't very good. Tonight was exceptionally bad. Especially when the person who sat you & took your order is sitting at the bar talking to people & never once asks you how your food is.
