Drove to The Front Porch, from Ocala! It is the only place I knew to have liver and onions! So worth the drive, and my craving is under control again. Mashed potatoes and fried okra too? Exactly what I was wanting. I went between lunch and dinner, so seating was fast and easy. I will be back!

Awesome! So glad you enjoyed it. The liver and onions was Dad's baby when we first opened about 30 years ago. It is still prepared the same way today, even though Dad's been gone for 5 years now. Like he use to say "IF it ain't broke? Don't fix it" LOL. We sure do miss him.
Been eating there for about twenty yrs. Service is good ,food arrived fast and price wasn't that bad either. It's just good food.
Have been getting pie here for over 20 years. Even when we come to visit from out of town. Best pie and desserts

Great food- one of my favorite places to et in Dunnellon. You must save room for pie. Peanut butter is my favorite!
It was very good...an the were busy....with a line to get in...an they have an outdoor smoking area...the bugar I had was 1 of the best I had eaten
We really enjoyed it, " I really liked their Okree basket. It was done just right." I had peanut butter pie and it was so fresh. We are from Polk county we came up with friends who have been to the River before. Your restaurant made our trip even better. I really thought the hostess did a great job too.
The best fried chicken, and my husband loves their Cuban sandwich. Always have good home cooked food!
Moved to Dunnellon a few months ago and didn't make it here until last month for breakfast with visiting friends.....really good....took home pie that was to die for. Came back this evening for a meal that was delicious....and stayed to eat our pie....once again it was really good. Our server "Julie" was very friendly and gave excellent service. Can't wait to bring friends and family when visiting our "new" home! Thank you!
