NEW ITEM - Elbow, Rear Trunnion Greasers, TA/TB The elbow is another part that is no longer manufactured for TA/TB's until now. FTFU has had a number of requests for the entire greaser system for the late TA thru TB. This is the final piece needed to complete the system. TA1282 - FINAL DETAILING FTFU is finished with final detailing of the engine bay. This is the perfect time to capture unobstructed photos of all of the bits and pieces that make up the MPJG engine and its accessories. We have gone to great length to fabricate many of the fittings and plumbing items per original factory detail. These are now available for TA owners. Please inquire with your needs. Next step.... the bonnet goes on and remainder of car gets prepped for customer acceptance.
QUESTION OF THE DAY: How long to disassemble a TC down the frame. ANSWER: 5 HOURS Another FTFU restoration is in process. Our crew of 3 started at 6:30 am and by lunch the frame was stripped. Now we are processing all components for a rebuild "From The Frame Up."

HOOD CORNER 101 - Mystery Revealed Finishing the front corners of the hood seems to be one of the great mysteries. It is hidden by the front Hidem" and people ask how did that corner get fitted. See the photos to show how the cutting and tacking is done in sequence.
New Book: CLASSIC ENGINES, MODERN FUELS by: Paul Ireland Finally, we can now understand how our classic engines are impacted with today's modern fuels. Our good friend Paul Ireland (and lifelong TC owner) has conducted an in depth study to reveal what we need to know to best operate and preserve our tiny cars. His new book has taken the myth out of the many factors affecting engine performace. This is a recommended read for all car owners with classic engines. 1937 TA - PROGRESS REPORT We continue to do all the little detail work in the engine bay. Motor runs great and will do a test drive soon. Just finishing the interior and seats. The rear compartment is a little different than the TC interior so had to sort that out. Getting ready to hang all the forward sheet metal. Really coming together now.
HOMECOMING - Charley Williams This just in from Charley. He lost his home (and almost his MG) in the devasting California "Carr Fire" 2 years ago. Charley and his MG are home again. https://youtu.be/qLyHt064GLY
