TICKFORD DEBUT Saturday, 17 April 2021, From The Frame Up hosted an open house to debut the completion of TB0263 Tickford. The event was well attended with Doug giving a brief history of the evolution of the MG and the Tickford Coupe. TB0263 is a very special car in that it was the first TB Tickford of only 57 built. It now joins the FTFU Registry as the #8 car being completely rebuilt back to factory specs. It's registry number is: #0258 - TB0263. The program was completed by the presentation of a Midge Mascot to compliment... read more

MIKE SHERRELL - Author, TCs Forever. Then and Now. Just got a photo from my good friend, and "our mentor", Mike Sherrell taken on holiday at Rottnest Island. Photo included below. This reminded me of some of the other great photos of Mike which illustrate his continued passion for the MG. He has driven more than 1/2 million miles in his TC. Let that be your goal. Mike you look great and are a lasting inspiration to us all. Doug

TB0251- LOCATED AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION The first TB off the line is currently being resurrected. The attached photos indicate it may be a challenge. But Quentin, the proud owner in the UK, seems to have it well on its way. We look forward to seeing TB0251 on the road again.

TB0263 - FIRST TB TICKFORD: Coming To Life FTFU is currently working on the interior "mock-up" of the very first of the TB Tickfords. Each trim panel is carefully fitted with proper hardware so that when the body gets its final painting, the interior trim will go together smoothly. TB0263 is shaping up to be a world class restoration. Watch for more progress photos.

Celebrate: THE 97th INTERNATIONAL OLIVER ARKELL DAY Today, the 11th of August 2020, is International Oliver Arkell Day. This celebrates the occasion in 1923 when Oliver purchased directly from Cecil Kimber at the Queen St. Oxford showrooms, his Raworth-bodied Morris Garages Super Sports registered FC 5855, the earliest properly documented sale of an M.G. The six cars carrying Raworth coachwork on specially modified Morris Cowley chassis were considered by Cecil Kimber, Cecil Cousins, F. Wilson McComb, and well informed histo... read more
