Refused to take my deer that I was donating for Hunters Sharing The Harvest. When I asked about getting it processed for myself, he required a $60 cash deposit which I did not have on me at the time. I had to drag the deer back up to my truck. I would not recommend this place to anybody. He was not friendly or welcoming. Go to Shubas or Kips instead.
Ended up at Fritz after Kips Deer Processing turned me away because they had no ability to take my sons doe. It's probably for the best because I really didn't like that I didn't get my own meat when ordered jerky etc. Fritz is further away but the guys are really nice and I know I'm going to get my deer meat rather than someone else's!
Fritz and his family helped us out with some hogs we shot in Texas this Spring and I was very thankful I found him. The meat was processed quickly and the presentation was very professional. Really excited to try the sausage.
Took a deer here at the suggestion of a family member after my normal butcher was not able to do my processing this year. After waiting 4 weeks i had to call to find out my deer was ready.I received my deer and the large female deer that I shot only gave me 22 lbs of meat? The family member that swears by them who got a small deer opening day walked away with almost 50lb. I called to see if maybe I was only given half my order and was told I was wrong and that was a normal amount but they would look into it and call me back.... read more
