Not a Good First Impression – I drive by this salon nearly every day and have been intending to stop in to check out their services. I discovered they are a Bumble & Bumble salon, so stopped in to pick up a new product (new to me) that I'd read about. It was a Thursday, around noon. I found meter parking right away. Um, Think I'm Going To Pass Next Time... – I hate to say it, and I did not want to post anything because I believe some folks have off days, but I felt that my recent experience at Fringe was a bit, well, absurd really. SHOCKING Experience – WOW. I do not even know how I am going to be able to write this review. I made an appointment as a first time client with Fringe for a Brazilian blow-out for today at 10am. The person who made the appointment said it would be with her and her name is Stephanie. I asked her about her experience and she seemed to have little experience and my gut was telling me I should reconsider. Super bummed – I was referred to Fringe by a friend who had just gotten highlights and was really happy with them. Her color looked great and I was really excited! Unfortunately, I needed my hair done asap and her colorist was not available. I am SO upset that I didn't wait until she was. I went with someone else the receptionist suggested. I needed highlights and asked her to try to get rid of the brassiness. She said I should get a single process and highlights next time. Worth the trip! – Fringe is out of my way. It's nowhere near where I live, but I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for a haircut. The people there are friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I'm happy to make the trip.
The best in the West – I have written a review for Fringe Hair Salon in the past, but feel compelled to reiterate what a wonderful experience it is to not only get the best haircut in town, but also to hang out with Linda and her team. Making me look good is a task not easily accomplished. But Fringe Hair Salon does it with ease and good humor. And her pricing is more than fair. If you want to look great, and have a great time, Fringe is the place for you.

Fabulous Fringe – If you would have seen the "before" shot of my hair color you'd hardly believe it. Owner Linda Farrall worked her magic on my hair just about a month ago, on my very first visit to her salon. A million things can go wrong when you're in between colors, or going blonde, or letting your hair grow out, which is why I definitely wanted a master working on my hair. I've had my hair done all over L.A. and this is one place that takes their time to pay attention to every last detail...and I am one picky little lad... read more
