We love our new home! Everything has been fantastic so far other than we are still waiting for our shed which caused us to have to use one of the bedrooms for storage which is why im giving a 3. We were told it would be here when we moved in. Also still waiting for part of the front porch to be fixed that we listed on the damages sheet prior to moving in. Staff is super friendly. Park is clean. We have not been here long but so far so good!
Place used to be decent but all the beautiful trees have been removed, roads are terrible, they'll rent to anyone at this point, they are packing new homes in like sardines, some of the rules, the enforcement and lack of enforcement is ridiculous. Worst of all the lot rent seems to go up annually with no additional benefits or improvements, some of highest lot reacts int the area.
The office staff is very friendly, professional. And understanding when I have a situation that needs to be dealt with, however there has been a delay in handling a recent work order due to being short staffed in the maintenance department. As of the time of this posting it has been three weeks and I have yet to have my issue addressed.
One of my biggest issues is that communication is not great but there are other issues as well. The office staff does not return phone calls when you leave a message and barely answer the phone. We have had multiple other issues since UMH took over. They nitpick lots of things but do not fix the community areas. We have had 8+ feet length of poison ivy growing through their fence into our yard for years and they will not do anything about it.
