If you’ve never been here before, you are def. missing out because to meet dentists, all you have to do is call the Santa Maria office and set up an appt…. I was completely floored with the great job Dr. Barrera carried out on my teeth, totally worth it… I was very nervous about the procedure but everyone pitched in to assuage my fears…. if I keep getting treated the same way, I’m pretty sure my nerves about dentistry will be tamed for good… yes, Dr. Barrera is that good!!

What a fine dentist’s office, no matter what way you’re looking at it. It makes such a difference when a team as a whole really strives for to provide the best to patients/customers. Dr. Barrera is a remarkable dentist and I completely recommend him. He’s a consummate professional and a pleasure to be around -- I could not recommend him more. Wow!

I went to Friendly Smiles Dental for a feeling. Everything went smoothly. When I got home, and the numbness and swelling had all subsided, I looked in the mirror and I saw what a great work had been done on my teeth. Dr. Hamlet Karapetian is an incredible dentist. I'm not really given to egregiously touting my own horn, but my smile looks wonderful! I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. If you guys are reading this, you're all fantastic! Keep up the good work!

All the staff at Friendly Smiles Dental knows how to treat patients. They’re a communicative and funny and very professional bunch. The times I’ve been here, no one has attempted to “up-sell” (in sales-speak!) me procedures I didn’t need, wasn’t looking for, or even asking about. When you go to a dentist, you trust him (or her) to guide you in making informed decisions about your mouth’s health. I am completely behind Friendly Smiles Dental because they’re completely behind me. The entire staff here really knows how to take care of patients. You’re greeted by nice and polite staff and in a timely manner ushered in to see the person with the metal sets. But he’s just as nice. I feel so lucky to have found Friendly Smiles Dental. they’ve worked on my teeth and they look spectacular. i’m over-the-moon in love with my teeth. they just look so good. i smile now because i’m happy and also because i want to show off my beautiful choppers. i thought I’d be hiding my smile forever, but that’s all over now. I recently had a terrible toothache, so I looked in the phone book and found Friendly Smiles. I gave them a call and they got me in the same day, when I got there they saw me right away. The entire staff was very gentle and patient with me, the Doctor was also very nice and explained to me that I would need a root canal and crown. I was also pleased to find out they could start the procedure the same day, unlike other offices that reschedule you even if you're in pain. I was a patient of theirs for a while now, but recently my husband went in for a crown as well ... and let me tell you it fell off his teeth with in less then 3 weeks! I was very upset when I found out how much he had paid for it. He had one before this recent one which he had for 4 years now i was upset at the fact that they wanted to charge our ins again for the same procedure, ofcourse our ins declined so we have to pay 2500$ out of our pocket!!! not the place where I want to be at anymore

I came to this place to do some dental work on my kids. I got to say this place is dirty and yet the workers there were very rude and completely ignored me when I wanted to ask a simple question. The dentist there is a complete jerk that belittles you I will never go back to that place and I think I will probably have better service at a gas station for dental work lol.So please save your time and go to another dental place.
