A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. Excellent food. No wait. Always Friendly. Always great homestyle food.
Nice time with family! Good baked goods
Returned today to celebrate a birthday with over an hour drive. It wasn’t the same as a few years ago. Smaller portions, more $, less good tasting entrees. The service was good and the scenery pretty. The icing on the cake was that while you receive a tiny take away container to take your entree with you, you are not “allowed” to have one for sides. Sides that are on your table, already served to you and are going to be thrown away anyway. As my son was packing up his entree he couldn’t get the remainder of fries fast enough... read more
