My father first brought me to Fricano's in Grand Haven in the fall of 1972 before the Grand Haven - Muskegon football game. He had enjoyed their pizza since the 1950's when he attended Grand Haven High School. My parents ate there when they were dating in the 50's. They brought us kids with them in the 60's and 70's. I worked there in the 80's. It has been my son's traditional birthday dinner since the early 90's. It was THE place for every family occasion in the 2000's. My nephew had them for his wedding rehearsal dinner and we all gathered there last year the night after my father passed away to celebrate his life and have his favorite, an EBA and a budweiser (no glass). Very possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten. Seriously.
Our favorite pizza anywhere! I just have to keep my anchovies on the side, I can't get the rest of the family to try them.
