We had an excellent experience with FreshWater Designs renovating our primary bathroom. From the design process through completion, their team was great to work with. They were very accommodating as we made changes along the way, and the 3D renderings were especially helpful in allowing us to visualize the finished space, including materials and finishes, before construction began. Karen was able to curate a beautiful design for our minor home renovation. We were very excited to work with her and her team. That being said, we had a less than desirable experience working with her and her contractor (her husband). Some of the issues we dealt with were a budget and timeline that doubled (we were already $10k in for design fees at that point so we didn’t want to walk away), minimal communication (get an email once a week about your project), lack of quality control (my husband had to do the punch walk on a... read more
