Really cute cafe with a good variety of coffee and non-coffee drink offerings (with reasonable prices!). Comfortable space to hang out for a bit and have a tasty croissant
This is the Cleveland park location of this chain. The bakery itself is nice and has outdoor seating. The raisin danish was pitiful, maybe a 2.5/5. They have a membership program where you can pay a flat membership fee every month to receive significant discounts on all items. If you plan on coming here often it's likely worth it. Overall, this place is okay.
Solid 3: the raisin bun was not that good, it could have used more moisture and maybe butter.. Chocolate Nutella croissant was okay. They have a member and non-member prices. If you live in the neighborhood you can get the app and pay monthly fees to get discounts. Unless you come here always, it makes no sense. However, in the Cleveland park area- they may be the better coffee shop and bakery. Located right next to the public library.. so I like that!
I got an almond croissant and my friend got a chocolate one. The croissant itself had very good flavor. It was soft which we still enjoyed but it wasn’t really flaky. They looked very generic but neat and pretty. My almond croissant had a decent amount of almond paste in it but it was all concentrated in the center in a dollop. The coffee was average.
