Ate here with my family for the first time on our way back from a road trip. We had been told about the barbecue here since we first moved to Georgia and had been anxious to try it. We thought everything was OK. Not bad, but not great. It was the first time any of us had ever had vinegar based bbq and unfortunately it wasn't something that we cared for. The prices are excellent and the service was also very good. We all really like the brunswick stew as well.
I ate here as a child with my family as we visited extended family in Jackson and Macon. The smell of fresh, delicious bbq and stew was a welcoming environment and although I haven't been since childhood, I have fond memories of this location and it's on my top 5 bbq joints.

Yesterday was my very first time. I have been hearing everyone talking up how awesome Fresh Air Barbecue is, it was good, the stew was the best part. I don't feel like I can give a true and accurate review since I am sick and can't exactly taste properly. My only negative comment was the sauce. I like a vinegar based sauce, but theirs is a little too vinegary for my taste. That's all I could taste, I couldn't taste any other components of the sauce at all.
