I went there by ambulance for a respiratory condition and was admitted to ICU and put on a bypap machine. I was removed from the machine, not given any oxygen and when I had a seizure in the ICU; NO ONE NOTICED. When I was used all my power to make a gutteral noise, to get attention ,the nurse that was there finally (4-10 min after it started) came into my room looked at me and instead of helping me said to someone outside the room "well, I don't know what her normal is" . Went to the ER for chest pain and SOB. What an experience. So many homeless and volatile individuals. ER smelled horrible. Patients yelling and kicking walls, laying in the middle of the ER floor. Nurses arguing with them and yelling back. Used the restroom in the back area of the ER, smelled like pee with a huge puddle on the floor. Had RN in 411 Lynn who will nail Apt goes Tuesday 11:30am had à great Hospital stay keep in nail visit with nurses and Doctors see my nails turn out.
It wasn’t the worst hospital experience. I overheard a couple nurses today on the 4th floor by the elevators around 1000 in the morning talking about how if your name doesn’t sound white you don’t get care right away. Nurses accusing their hospital of blatant racism was interesting.
