All was going well until my Jeep I bought from Tom started having minor issues. Called Tom and let him know he was polite and told me to take it to the shop and that he'd take care of it. Took it to the shop and they just bandaid the problem. I stopped by for a test drive, and I was utterly disappointed with what I saw. The owner (I think he was, I might be mistaken) knew nothing about a car he'd had for a week. I had to point out to him that the handbrake doesn't work. He claimed the car was a 1 owner with no accidents. The car had 3 owners and had been in an accident. How can you not know what you're selling?!? Didn't even try to negotiate because he didn't seem interested in making a sale, even though I had cash in hand.
