We brought my daughter in for a sick visit on a Wednesday. She was complaining of sore throat and just not feeling well. I had told the PA that she often gets strep throat without usual symptoms-so please check her for it. The PA refused to do so-saying this is just allergies and that she doesn’t have any symptoms for strep. The PA sent us home and told us to “load her up” on Children’s allergy meds and nasal spray.
