RecommendedNot only is Freeport Bakery the best neighborhood bakery, it's the best bakery in Sacramento. Every time you walk into the bakery you are greeted with smiles and the smell of freshly baked cookies, cakes, and pastries. My personal favorite is the chocolate chip cookies.
The owners of this shop are part of a group called Save Sac that calls homeless veterans "vagrants." These people are bigots and you should go somewhere that is not owned by people who hate homeless people rather than help them. Disgusting human beings.
So lucky to have this amazing bakery down the street from me. Everything here is delicious and made with so much love. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and I love walking down to treat myself to some of their flavorful delights. A must stop if you are in the neighborhood.
Beautiful bakery conveniently located near Taylor's Market. Amazing pastries and cakes served up by really friendly staff. Never a bad experience here.
