Upstairs for drinks is the best. Feels like your living room.
What can I say about this alleyway? The graffiti is often artsy. It's not full of loud drunk people ALL the time. It doesn't smell particularly bad. All in all, not a bad alley.
Great and excating location down a small alley. The whole building is designed to look old and rustique.
The hot artichoke dip may sound like a run-of-the mill appetizer, but no one does it better than Freemans.
It’s as close as you can get to nature in New York City—dead forest creatures around the walls at Freeman’s. If you can find the hidden door, try a few drinks—they’re fantastic—and so is the meat.
Come early, it can get busy here. Definitely get the Devils on Horseback which consists of dates stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, then broiled until crispy. Need we say more?
Grilled cheese for Brunch or cheddar toast for an app are a must
