They rent places out with known damages, especially around this time of the year than the mold starts growing. They’re well aware of it. They don’t let anyone know because they want to capitalize on damages and subcontracting them out.
As a property owner I wouldn’t suggest using this company. A little background I started using this company when Peter Freeman owned it, he was great. Then Alex took over, started out ok but over the years it took a huge dive. Helaine and her daughters now run day to day. They do not inspect your property as they claim and how it’s written in your contract. Worst property manager ever. Scammers. They scam people out of their deposits. Kept half me and my mom’s deposit for “cleaning blinds”. $800. It was at a particularly hard time of our lives too. And I personally spent hours fixing countertop tiles that had broken due to improper installation, improper installation was confirmed by a professional, and yet I fixed them. Hands down the best management company I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They truly advocate for their tenants and fight for their rights. Moriah is always prompt with her responses and thorough with her updates and follow through. They were able to get us reimbursed after the previous management company refused to pay for an emergency bee removal service (they swarmed inside our home while we had a newborn), and were communicative through the entire process.
