I recently hosted a surprise proposal followed by an after party with friends and family at Freedom Venue Event Center, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Garlow was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Since this was a surprise proposal, timing and setup were critical, and he went above and beyond by allowing me access to the space the night before to set everything up. The venue was spectacular , and the sound quality was exceptional. We went to the Venue party space with my family and friends for Christmas Eve and I can’t help but share that this was one of the finest experiences I have ever had! They had a lot of space, Large theatre, incredible studio, outstanding lighting, tables, chairs and kitchen complete with Microwave, fridge and hot plate. This place was convenient, local and the atmosphere was great. We were really stuck when a close friend’s family couldn't host their annual Christmas Dinner on December 24th suddenly. Luckily her daughter found this place and the owner, Garlow really helped us out a lot. He is kind and professional. We hosted my father’s 60th birthday at The Freedom Venue, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The owner and bartender were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and accommodating, which made the night run so smoothly. The venue is fully renovated, with a great sound system and lighting—perfect for hosting events and celebrations. Everything came together beautifully, and our guests loved it. Hidden gem in Scarborough! I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at this venue, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The location was ideal—just far enough from the downtown core to be easy to get to, with plenty of parking and no hassle.
