Was mis- lead by sales they approached us after they saw we were waiting on permits with another solar company they assured us we could cancel with other company without any issues. However 6 months after we switched to Freedom we get a collection letter from previous company for $500. Contacted our sales person sent them the collection letter also text 3 times. April 2024: Had a large solar system (Sunpower M Series) installed on a complex characteristic barrel tile roof of my home. Justin and his team came in and got the work done efficiently and effective. They were extremely knowledgeable about the system. On 08/20/2021, I purchased a SunPower Solar system from Justin Vaughan. Justin is the owner of Freedom Solar Energy. Justin was also a licensed SunPower vender and SunPower installer. My house was still under construction when Justin and I entered into our agreement. I explicitly told Justin there was no way he could accurately size my solar system without at least 6 months of a Teco bill. My background is construction. I've been around contractors since I was a kid and continue to work with contractors with my businesses that I own... Their installer Justin is an ABSOLUTE SAVAGE. They better give that guy whatever he wants to keep him around. Showed up before the rest of the crew and left after them. Even showed up alone one day and knocked out a big chunk of the project.
