Ive never in my life been treated so poorly!! i was extremely dissatisfied with the way that i was treated by John A***s. Called in because a credit card that i had deleted on the website was still changed and i was attempting to get a refund due to the card that was changed i did not own. This insurance company is terrible. Customer service is not helpful at all, and explanations for there fees and up in prices are just bad. Would not recommended at all to anyone. Glad my family and I got out of it.

This company is terrible. They are literally not even deserving of the one star rating that I gave them. Recently my policy was cancelled without notice due to someone having the same last name as me, and living in the same apartment complex. However, we did not share the same unit number. Apparently this person had some claims on his insurance record that conflicted with Freedom nationals policy. The company has predatory practices - the communication send to me with offer of renewing my insurance policy was misleading. Without confirming I want to renew policy, my debit card was charged. While the first and second customer service rep I spoke to assured me once I submit a form to "cancel" an insurance I never actually signed up for, the amount I was charged would be credited to my account, it turned out (when speaking to a 3d rep) it would take them 5 business days to process the request and that it could not be exp... read more
They canceled my insurance policy without any notice at all. They claim they sent mail to an old address from around 8 months ago, which is false because I've been receiving mail at this address since then. They aren't willing to help at all but just say I can pay $150 to start a new policy and be charged an extra $30 each month to have the same policy I had before. Regardless the time of day no one ever answers to phone, website always experience technical difficulties & the coverage sucks just horrible overall!
I signed up for insurance in May. A week later I cancelled it. They kept my remaining month of insurance. My car got a new transmission. They sent me a letter 5 months later saying I owe $50 for cancelling the policy. I wished I'd have known this was how they treat their customers beforehand. Careful!! I wish they'd get back to me! I called them and they told me that's just how it works! Not cool!
They are very slow about handling Business. They were rude and dishonest. They overcharge for cancelation. They told me 3 to 5 business day for my money to be refunded but took more like two weeks. They refuse to cooperate with me on placing money properly. Just a real unprofessional experience Would not recommend them to ANYONE.
