The Freedom Boat Club in San Diego is boating done right! Great community of members and amazing staff! Whether you're boating out of Harbor Island or Mission bay you'll work with an amazing team of people. Jessi, Jeremiah, Trevor, and Estefan have saved me multiple times - helping carry things from the car, adjust reservations, washing off gear, etc.
RecommendedAs a brand new member I can say this is one of the best investments I’ve made. Being a novice boater I was a little nervous about joining a boat club but this is hands down the only way to go. Joe was extremely helpful getting us trained, knowledgeable and confident on the water. Jesse at the Mission Bay dock is a rock star! Huge shoutout to the entire Club for allowing us to enjoy all San Diego has to offer! 🤘
RecommendedWe signed up and had our new member orietation. We spent the better part of the afternoon on the water on Commencement Bay familiarizing ourselves with a new Merry Fisher 695 doing docking procedures and other useful small boat evolutions. Shawn is a great instuctor no matter what your previous experience is. Could not be happier.

This club offers exactly what it promises ... wonderful new boats , amazing knowledgeable staff and easy booking . We’ve been able to use a boat every time we’ve wanted one . The guys on the dock do everything for us so it’s a no worry experiment for anyone not familiar with it. Thank you to everyone in Lewes that enables us to get out on the water .
RecommendedWe joined Freedom Boat Club in April and have been out almost every week since, sometimes twice a week. This is the most efficient and cost effective way to get involved in boating, especially here in Delaware where the conditions and type of boats required can vary so much based on the location and type of boating you want to do. The staff is outstanding at both locations and couldn't be more helpful. My wife really appreciates not having to "swab the decks" when we get back to the dock!
I never post but this club is terrific. Owners with integrity, young dock men who are obliging and efficient, boats that are well taken care of, and training as I request it. What more could you possibly ask for?
