Terrible, No bedside manner. I have never been so scared in a doctor's office. I had my first eye done and cancelled the second one. I do not see any better; I think worse. The surgery itself went good, it's the before and after that were the problems. He acted unprofessional . He would not answer my questions directly. This is the first time I have ever cried in a doctor's office. He tried to apologize and got down on his knees to ask me not to not give him a bad review. Basic exam adequate and exam easy to get and on time. But no color blindness test and no inspection of current glasses. He did not introduce himself.
Dr.paskowski is a very kind and professional eye doctor. He gave me back my eyesight and will always be grateful. He made my cataract surgery go smoothly and without pain.I highly recommend him. Thank you so much??
This Dr. did my cataract surgery. I was extremely disappointed. During a pre-op visit, I was given a choice to retain near sight or far sight, I emphasized over and over how important it was to retain my near sight. When the surgery was over, I discovered he corrected my far sight against my wishes. When confronted about it he said he couldn't find a lens to fit properly like finding a shoe (his words). Dr. Paskowitz is very caring, and thourough. I had shingles in my eye back in August, and was referred to him. I have seen him many times in the last 5 months, and every time he does a great job and takes time to listen to my concerns. He doesn’t rush through exams at all. He also is very funny and makes you feel comfortable. He is informative and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone with eye concerns. My eye is getting so much better and my vision is restored because of him.
I would give him a 10. He knew exactly what my eye issue was restoring my vision from legally blind to normal. I had seen 3 opthamologists prior to him and the treatments they gave me made my vision worse. Smart and intuitive but can be abrupt. Don't go to him if you are a snowflake.
I was nervous going into the appointment- fear of doctors. He looked at my eyes and after 3 seconds got extremely frustrated & snapped “you’re too nervous for this & I’m not going to look at your eyes.” He waited for me to relax & I said was ready again & he nearly refused to take another look. I brought up his frustration & he got very defensive about his reaction. Very unprofessional, condescending, & rude. He even called after to “apologize” but the apology turned into him defending himself.
The reviews I just saw were 100% wrong! Dr. Paskowitz is one of the finest doctors I have ever known! He examined both my boyfriend and I. Cataract testing and scheduling took place within 1 week. Surgery was performed and had 100% better vision as soon as eye was healed. He and his staff were both personable, professional and caring! We give him a 10+++
