According to Rom 14:1-4 those who are offended by food or drink are the immature and weak and these are forbidden to demand others conform to their foolish views! Wine is mentioned over 200 times in the Bible and is part of the promise of Messianic age (Isaiah 27:2; 55:1; Jeremiah 31:12; Joel 2:19-32; 3:18; Amos 9:13-14) and thus gave cause for Jesus first miracle at the festive occasion.
