Mindy is great! I had neglected cutting my curls for far too long because I just didn't know what to do with them. She listened to my concerns and hopes for what I wanted, talked me through what she was doing and why as she did it, and had so many helpful tips for keeping my curls looking great when styling them at home. My cut was amazing, and my hair looks so much happier and healthier!

Mindy is a genius with curly hair. I first saw her years ago when, like many curly-haired women, I had an ambivalent relationship with my curls. She gave me a fantastic cut and showed me how to apply the Curlisto products I'm still using these many years later. I had never had her color my hair, until yesterday, and it came out gorgeous. Great haircut and color! Mindy really understands the nuance of curly hair and has been cutting mine for a few years. She is very honest about what will look good or not and meticulously looks at each piece until she gets it right. Even though I've moved away, I still drive 40+ min for a cut with her, and it's completely worth it.

The reason I gave one star is because that was the way into the comments. I am usually a tolerant, kind person however, Mindy doesn't deserve even 1 star for this haircut. Yes, I was a few minutes late, however, she was chatting on the phone & ultimately kept me waiting. The consult promised, was rushed through. She didn't absorb any specifics we discussed about what I wabted or how my hair behaved.
