I am a father of a two year old girl.My daughter has really bad allergies.Around any other female my daughter would misbehave but Dr.Livingood makes her feel comfortable and brings smiles and laughter to her with a pinky wave.
this was my pediatric dr. growing up as a child. and the father mr. fink delivered me. the drs are great but the practice is awful. they dismissed my daughter from ever going there again because I had a balance to pay that I didnt know the insurance didnt pay at the time. how can you be a professional practice for children and dismiss a child from being seen there ever. wow that is just crazy. this time of recession and drs closing there arent many drs you can trust anymore. good luck to all that still go here.
We never actually made it in to see the doctor so Ill just write about my experience in the waiting room. This clinic looks more like an adult clinic, not a pediatric clinic. The waiting room is long and narrow with a tv on the far wall, and plastic seats lining the walls. Any childrens decorations are few and far between (I think there was one Pooh thing on the wall). will never return again i took my child out on the first visit she and staff were very nasty and very unprofessional
Horrible. I mean honestly i cant think of one nice comment to leave for the ladies in the front desk. Never mind the fact that there was only a few chairs to sit on, and the TV is blaring over head. And never mind the fact that I could see inside to the patients getting a checkup. All this aside I have never been treated so poorly by a doctors office. And will hope this doesnt happen in a petiatrics office again. By the way i didnt even get to see the Dr. tsk tsk.
The waiting room was uninviting, if not a little dirty. It was also very small. I was there for a well child check-up and had to sit right next to children who were obviously sick. The examining room was much like the waiting room. No decoration for children and everything seemed a bit outdated and old. On a positive note- the doctor was friendly and took plenty of time answering all my questions and examining my infant.
I am a new mom and I have chosen Dr. Livingood as my daughters pediatrician. Dr. Livingood is an excellent pediatrician and is very thorough. She makes me feel comfortable when I ask questions and she takes her time to explain and address any concerns I have. She also encourages me to keep up the good work and makes me feel like I am doing a good job as a 1st time mother. She is an instant friend if you know what I mean. She has all aspects many look for in a friend. Shes caring, a good listener, and professional and knowledgeable in a down-to-earth way. Never has she ever spoke above my head. My son had a reaction once, a serious one, and she was on top of it... I MEAN ON TOP OF IT! Ive seen her work under the average situations and one that was life-threatening. I have complete confidence in her ability. YES, She is the best. My son is going on 2 Dec 26 th and she has been so supportive and caring about my son. Being that my son has asthma she sees to it that he has the right type of medicine needed to protect his lungs and manage his breathing. she schedules periodic visits set up just to check up on his asthma. I love that lady
