Absolutely vial person pretending to be a psychiatrist, which HE IS NOT! Instead of addressing my concerns vis a vis, my child’s growth delay, he actually had the audacity to accuse me of molesting my 4 year old, solely based on me helping the child to wipe after going to the bathroom because, according to him, four year olds “don’t need any help there”! The best. Very knowledgeable and some probably dont like to hear the truth on their face. But he is truly a nice guy and likes to help. He helped our son to chage to a better quality of life. If you are looking for a Dr to help he is the one just listen well so the help can succefully be delivered.

My daughter started treatment nearly a year ago and within the first week of treatment she was cured. We have never had another bowel movement accident since. You have to stick to the regimen and have faith in the process. It works. Stick to it ! And don’t be discouraged or in your feelings about his direct approach. Take ownership as a parent and take action NOW. Children deserve not to be embarrassed in their everyday activities. **update it’s been two years. And we have not had any other incidents. My son had encopresis and we couldn't go to a park or swimming pool without my son having an accident. Doing dr Daums program was life changing, although we lived in Canada Dr Daum was available to speak with over the phone at any time. I see some reviews where people may think he comes off as not the friendliest but I feel its only because he doesn't like excuses and wants what is best your child and family!
