Well I had a contract with Frederick Air. Was paying them annually and for each 6 month service. I had another company look at it this year and they showed me all of the issues that I am currently encountering. I'm not sure what Frederick Air was doing besides taking my money and not really servicing it. This place is all about getting paid and replacing units to their advantage. Customers beware!! I guess unless you watch over them, they charge you for things they actually don't perform. Horrible!!! DO NOT TAKE OUT THE MAIN... read more

Customer had a maintenance performed by FA in March of 2022. It was noted at the time that the filter was very dirty, which indicates it was not being changed regularly. Customer subsequently did not renew their maintenance agreement and has not had any service in the following 16 months. Customer recently had another company out, who indicated that the system was dirty. This comports with the time and expected buildup of dust and particulates between maintenance/cleanings. We moved to Frederick, MD in December 2016. WGL brought natural gas down our street this summer and we decided to convert from oil heat to gas, and to replace both our HVAC system and switch out our electric stove to natural gas. Absolutely no issues Our HVAC system died (or was on its last leg) at the end of June, just before the first of the really high heat waves to hit this summer. We called our normal service provider (who we had for over 10 years) and decided to call two other places for quotes, with Frederick Air being one of them. Well Done Frederick Air I purchased a service contract several years ago after having at least one major AC meltdown a year. Since we signed the contract with Frederick Air we have had NO breakdowns. Bad Installation, Bad Service I talked to the owner and shook his hand on the deal as he promised to "make me happy". They installed the new unit backwards from the old unit and ran a hot flue pipe right through the open room! Then he wanted $800 more to set it right!!! When it came to repairing the unit they have been unresponsive, telling me it is supposed to do the things it does, like run the backup heat when the outside temperature is over 50 degrees and the weather is clear and sunny. Great Service Response Last night 12/16 I came home and found that the furnace was not working.
Thanks to Frederick Air Inc. I was completely satisfied with the people and service at Frederick Air. I have had issues with my 20 years old heat pump; replacing part after part. Most of these parts could be found with little or no trouble. For the hard to find part, Frederick Air came through. Speaking to them on the phone was speaking to someone I already knew. Frederick Air was not the first person I called, but after speaking to them there was no need to call anyone else. Thank you Frederick Air!!
