My husband and I have experienced countless Sunday afternoons for the best brunch in Austin at Freda's not to mention some wonderful evenings for dinner and cocktails. I recommend Freda's to anyone looking for a great place for brunch, lunch or dinner. I especially enjoy the Sunday afternoons with the live music.
I loved the rainbow trout! The service was excellent & everything tasted perfect! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
My wife and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at Freda's and we were absolutely thrilled with the fare and the service. Our server Ruth pampered us and her knowledge of the menu and wines was supreme!!! Can't wait to go back!!!

More fish than seafood, but good. A little pricey. Everything is priced separately. There is no salad with the meal kind of thing.
